ShuckEasy, an original New York Oyster Week production, is a “ClandesDINING” experience featuring ultra premium, rare and exotic oysters, and much more. On this night we will feature all 5 species of oysters commonly consumed in North America / (and legally attainable). Plus, if we are lucky, we’ll all get to try a 6th species, from New Zealand, only to become available in the USA this year!

The event is a “rare & exotic" raw bar curated by Oyster Aficionado Kevin Joseph. Kevin has identified and sourced oysters from all over the world and will leave no oyster unturned to deliver the best and most exotic specimens of all 5 species AND PAIR THEM to fine beer, wine & spirits. Cocktails are the beverage focus for the evening and so creative presentations of Finlandia Vodka and Plymouth Gin by NYC’s best Mixologists will be on offer.

The style of the event is elegant but casual. There is some seating and high tops in the beautiful venue (you’ll be given the address when you buy tickets). Guests will roam from bar to bar and from raw bar to raw bar for beverages and oysters. This is not a seated affair it is a premium tasting event.

Guests will receive a minimum of 13 oysters from the ULTRA PREMIUM & PREMIUM RAR BARS and they are free to gorge themselves on East & West Coast Oysters from the UNLIMITED RAW BAR too.

Sometimes nature, weather and logistics (not planning) dictates what actually arrives at a certain event or restaurant on any given day. Actually, this is the case MOST of the time. So, we will do our best to deliver EXACTLY what we’ve published but we know that this is highly unlikely to happen. What we can guarantee is a great time, an incredible collection of oysters, a fantastic collection of beverages and a wonderful crowd gathering in a beautiful space.
