SOLD OUTKaki & Sake, is an Original New York Oyster Week Production in Parter with, In A Half Shell and Vine Connections. The event is inspired by Japanese kaki (oyster) and sake culture. Join us for this special oyster and sake pairing at the Union Square Wines & Spirits tasting room on Thursday, September 25th at 6:30PM.
Guests will be invited to explore a succulent array of West Coast oysters paired with a dynamic range of premium sakes. Sake expert Monica Samuels from Vine Connections and oyster connoisseur Julie Qiu from In A Half Shell will guide you through each pairing, help demystify these two exotic delights, and explain why they work so well together. Come thirsty and curious, oyster and sake beginners are very welcome!
The event is limited to 50 ticketed guests. A ticket costs $36 and include half a dozen oysters (two each of 3 different varieties) and a flight of six premium sakes. Space is very limited, so be sure to secure your spot. Please note that you must be 21 to attend.
